I believe you’re familiar with the term ‘SEO‘ that stands for ‘Search Engine Optimization‘. For those who have no idea about it, SEO is a practice of maximizing the targeted traffic to your online content, website, blog, videos, and/or social channels through organic search results, especially from Google.
Google follows a set of rules called ‘search engine algorithm‘ to measure of the importance and relevance of a website. Google considers 200+ factors in their algorithm to rank web pages and show you the most relevant results.
In my SEO training sessions that I conduct here in Dubai and Sharjah, I normally focus on 21 SEO factors and tips that every website owner, designer and blogger need to know! Even, as a company owner, you need to know these things so if you’re planning to outsource it to some SEO agency or consultants; they will not be able to misguide you and you will be spending your money wisely.
Here are some most important sources from where you can learn more about SEO:
- Optimize your website, blog, videos, photos using SEO standards to get better visibility on Google while people are searching about your industry, products and/or services: Download Free SEO Guide officially published by Google
- Always consider Google Webmasters Guidelines – Design, Content, Technical & Quality (while designing a website, revamping it, and/or adding new content)
- Subscribe to Google Webmasters Help – a YouTube channel containing videos by Matt Cutts who is the head of Google’s Quality team.
