4b. Optimizing Folder / File / Images Names

· Include your most relevant keywords into filenames of pages and images of your web site as the filename has a big impact on search engines.

· Keep your keywords in filenames to a minimum of 1 – 2 words. Adding many keywords in filenames can be considered as spam.

· Use hyphens (-) to separate your keywords/phrases. Example:

SEOIntl.net/SEO-Products/Keyword-Research-tools.htm
